Obama in 2nd term to pack a bigger punch

I looked at President Obama's inauguration which was held on Sunday 1/20/13 @ 11:55am and it looks like we are going to see a different president than we saw in his first term.  In his 2nd term we will see a president that projects power.  He will be much more forceful and determined and his adversaries will find him less willing to back down.  This comes from Pluto aspecting the Sun signifying power and Jupiter also aspecting the Sun conferring blessings and good fortune.  

When you cast a chart for an event the Sun represents the head of state.  

The aspects are as follows:

Jupiter trine and contra parallel the Sun - brings good fortune and positive circumstances

Pluto parallel Sun - power, will & determination

Mercury conjunct & parallel the Sun - communication

Moon contra parallel the Sun - favorable opinion from the public

Venus parallel the Sun - cooperation from others

For those who have been waiting for the President to take off the gloves and take on his adversaries the time has come.  The Republican party will come to the table and negotiate or be rolled over.  This should be an interesting four years.

 

Gen. David Petraeus affair with Paula Broadwell

This is a brief astrological analysis of the sad affair between General Petraeus and Paula Broadwell.  At the time the affair started, late 2011, General Petraeus had Chiron square Ceres.  Chiron (success) making a negative aspect to Ceres (career) means that anything important natalized (started) at this time could have a negative impact to one's career.  This has certainly proved to be the case.  

The aspects between General Petraeus and Paula Broadwell as follows:

Positive

Venus trine Juno - super sex 

Jupiter conjunct Chiron - romance

June trine Uranus (twice) - super sex

Negative

Chiron contra-parallel Saturn - heartbreak

Ceres parallel Saturn - make mistakes together

Chiron square Uranus - infidelity

The positive aspects are very compelling and there is a strong physical attraction between them.  However they also have a heartbreak aspect and this does not bode well for the relationship.  This means that this affair was destined to end badly as we have all now seen.  One final note,  they also have the aspect Sun trine Uranus that is known as the super fame aspect.  This relationship has certainly lived up to that aspect.

Finally in his current transits has the following very negative aspects:
Saturn inconjunct Ceres - career heartbreak
Neptune square Ceres - career upheaval

   

Soulmate - When to look for one and how to determine if you have found the one

If your looking for a loving, lasting relationship there are times that will be very favorable and on the flip side times when you need to be extra careful.  The planets that are most favorable for relationships are Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto and the astroid Chiron.  Of these, good aspects between Venus or Neptune and Chiron are the most favorable.  Aspects between these planets and Saturn, especially Saturn and Chiron are very unfavorable for relationships.

Here is what you want to look for:

The best time to find a soulmate is when there is a transiting aspect between Chiron and Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto in your chart.  If you meet someone during this period the chances that that person will be the right one for you are greatly increased.  The other person should also be having these good aspects.  Then you want to compare that person's chart with your own.  You will need to have aspects between Chiron and the planets mentioned above with the other person.

What to avoid:

Saturn is the big nemesis here, especially if it is making a bad aspect to Chiron.  During this time you are highly unlikely to meet a loving, long-term partner.  Also if there are bad aspects between you and the other person involving Chiron and Saturn the chances of a long-term relationship are greatly diminished.  

Chiron is the asteroid that signifies love in a relationship.  Without it you may have attraction on an emotional, mental and/or physical level but will lack the love that holds it all together.

There are other planets that are important in a relationship for instance Mercury (communication) and Mars (working cooperatively).  

Finally there is one asteroid that is directly related to sex and affairs - Juno.  I'll say more about this in a future post.

Elizabeth Warren over Scott Brown

In this race Warren also have very few negative aspects (mostly minor) and many good aspects.  The best of these being Uranus in-conjunct Chiron, Chiron conjunct Chiron, Uranus parallel Sun,  Jupiter conjunct Uranus, Uranus contra-parallel Jupiter and Pluto parallel Jupiter.  

Brown has some good aspects, especially Jupiter parallel Pluto, Uranus in-conjunct Pluto, Jupiter contra-parallel Ceres and Uranus contra-parallel Ceres.  Unfortunately he also has Chiron opposition Pluto (twice), Ceres contra-parallel Saturn (twice) and Ceres contra-parallel Earth/Moon complex.

I believe these negative aspects will be hard to overcome especially as his opponent has very few negative aspects.  Based on the above I'm picking Warren to defeat Brown.

Claire McCaskill over Todd Akin

In this race McCaskill has 2 minor negative aspects while Akin has an overwhelming 11 negative aspects in his progressed and transits charts.  Some of these are the very worst, Chiron square Saturn, Saturn square Jupiter, Chiron square Pluto, Pluto square Ceres.  You get the picture.  I will be very surprised if McCaskill doesn't win this race.

Sherrod Brown over Josh Mandel

Sherrod Brown has good aspects overall that out number his negative aspects.  Especially Chiron Trine Jupiter (twice) and Chiron trine Ceres in the progressions.  In his transits he has Pluto conjunct Chiron, Ceres contra-parallel Uranus.  While he has some negative aspects they are not nearly as bad as the the ones Josh Mandel is dealing with.  He has Saturn opposition Chiron (twice) and Saturn in-conjunct the Earth/Moon complex.  He has quite a few good aspects but I think it will be hard to overcome the negative influence of the 2 above.

Everyone who has been selected to run for office will have good aspects or they would not have been chosen, the difference maker is the number of negative aspects compared to your opponent.  Based on the above I'm giving the nod to Brown.

Tim Kaine over George Allen

I'm picking Tim Kaine over George Allen because Allen has many more negative aspects than positive ones.  He has 8 negative vs 4 positive aspects in his progressed chart and 4 negative vs 5 positive in the transit chart.  Compare this to Tim Kaine who has 4 negative vs 3 positive in the progressed chart and 2 negative vs a whopping 10 positive aspects in his transit chart.

Besides the aspects I also look at planetary synchronization, that is, how many planets overall are involved in the aspect picture.  Tim Kaine has the highest number of positive planets that are at or near the same degree.  Based on these very favorable astrological aspects I think Kaine has a distinct advantage over Allen come election day.
